How entries are labelled

Each release carries one or more labels, so you can tell a model change from a pricing change at a glance.

Sample contentVersion numbers and dates condense the build history into a readable log; every entry describes work that is in the product today, and anything not connected yet is named as a known limit.

Newest first. Entries state what became usable, and what a release deliberately left out.

v0.9.0September 5, 2026

Workbench opens: create without an account

The workbench ships with an anonymous Create view, plus a library, queue and history built from real tasks rather than mock rows. A running job survives a reload for 24 hours, so closing the tab no longer loses it. The sidebar collapses, Escape minimises the composer, and screens under 768px get an overlay nav. Known limit: object storage for uploads is not connected, so image, video and audio inputs still cannot be submitted.

Signed continuations and task ownership

Extending a clip or continuing from its last frame now sends one self-contained signed token that covers the task id, expiry, model, resolution and owner. The server verifies it before it ever reaches the provider, and bare task ids or provider URLs are refused. Task lookups check that the anonymous session owns the task. In progress: the entry stays disabled until the signing secret is configured.

Composer v2: 20 model entries verified, one credit rule

Every parameter in the panel was checked line by line against the provider documentation across 20 model entries, so a control now appears only when the API actually accepts that field. Vgent credits are calculated as ceil(provider credits × 0.75) everywhere, replacing the old landing-page formula. The Multi-shot switch and the Template tab were deleted from the interface and from request building — no model exposes anything they could map to.

v0.6.0July 31, 2026

The current model line

Vgent 1.0 · Seedance 2.5 · Kling 3.0 · Veo 3.1 · MiniMax H3 Max · Wan 3.0 replace the earlier versions across the panel. Resolution, clip length, native audio, reference slots and per-second rates now come from each model’s own descriptor, so the panel reconciles settings when you switch models instead of silently sending values the model does not support.

v0.5.0July 17, 2026

Anonymous limits, written down

The 200-credit Vgent allowance quoted to a new visitor is a planned figure, not a balance any server keeps per visitor. What is enforced today: a ceiling of 300 provider credits per clip, at most 2 images and no auto duration. Submissions are rate limited to 5 per network address every ten minutes and reserved against a daily provider budget shared by every anonymous caller, and a retried submit reuses its idempotency key instead of billing twice. Production needs a Redis REST store; without one, paid submissions are refused rather than run unmetered.

v0.4.0July 3, 2026

The pricing page

Plans, credit packs, the buy-more-earn-more block, a feature comparison and a calculator that prices a clip from real model rates. Payments, subscriptions and pack purchases are not open, so every card states its availability instead of pretending to check out, and no balance is shown anywhere.

English and Chinese, decided by the URL

Copy moved into one i18next namespace per page, with the English file defining the shape and Chinese mirroring it key by key. English keeps unprefixed URLs, Chinese lives under /zh, and every request builds its own instance so both languages render on the server with canonical and hreflang tags. The locale cookie only remembers a switch the visitor made deliberately.

v0.2.0June 5, 2026

Landing v2 and a dark-only palette

The landing shell was rebuilt on neutral near-black surfaces with the blue accent, and the call-to-action gradient was separated from the decorative one so text on it clears contrast. Colours come from tokens in a single stylesheet, and no component holds a hex value. The theme switch was dropped on purpose; only an empty light hook remains.

Platform
v0.1.0May 22, 2026

The landing page starts making real videos

The hero composer stopped being a mockup: a prompt goes to a server route that proxies the provider, and the browser polls the task for up to twenty minutes before showing the result. The provider key stays on the server and never reaches the browser, a log line or a URL.
