A capable new video model ships almost every month, and each one arrives with its own console, its own parameter names, its own credit wallet and its own idea of what a reference image is. Anyone who wants the best result for a given shot ends up keeping five tabs and five prepaid balances open.
That reconciling work belongs to software, not to you. Vgent Labs Pte. Ltd. was founded in 2026 to build the layer in between: one panel that reshapes itself around whichever model you pick, so changing your mind costs a click instead of an afternoon.
Raw generation quality is converging fast. What stays hard is everything around it: knowing which model can actually do the shot, what it charges, what it silently ignores, and what to do when it fails.
This is the honest state of the product as it stands, written the same way we write it internally. Nothing below is a roadmap promise; it is what does and does not run today.
Four rules we apply when a shortcut would be easier, in the order we usually reach for them.
If something is not wired up, the control stays visible, is marked unavailable and explains why. We would rather show a disabled button with a reason than a spinner that never resolves or a success message with nothing behind it.
One published rule converts a provider’s credits into ours: Vgent credits = ceil(provider credits × 0.75). It is the same multiplier for every model, the ceiling is the only rounding, and a clip’s estimate comes from the model’s own rate rather than a marketing number.
The panel reshapes itself to the selected model’s verified parameters instead of collapsing everything into one lowest-common-denominator form. Switch models and your prompt stays, the settings that still apply stay, and anything the new model cannot accept is reconciled in front of you.
Creating needs no account, so anonymous work stays anonymous. A prompt goes to the model that renders it and nowhere else; we keep operational logs for reliability and abuse handling, never a copy of your prompts or conversations.

The hero composer stops being a mockup. A prompt goes to a server route that proxies the provider and the browser polls the task until the clip is ready. The provider key stays on the server and never reaches the browser.
The site is rebuilt on a single token palette with no hex values in components, then translated by URL: English unprefixed, Chinese under its own prefix, both rendered on the server with canonical and hreflang tags.
Every parameter in the panel is checked against the provider documentation, so a control appears only when the API accepts that field. Vgent credits are calculated as ceil(provider credits × 0.75) everywhere, and the pricing page lands with an estimator built on real model rates.
Anonymous creation, an asset library, a queue and history built from real tasks, and running jobs that survive a reload. Uploads stay disabled until object storage is connected, and the interface says so rather than failing quietly.
We are small and do not publish individual profiles yet, so here is the work itself, split the way we actually split it.
Reads each provider’s documentation line by line and records what a model really accepts — resolutions, clip lengths, reference slots, native audio — then keeps the capability matrix and the per-second rates current as versions turn over.
Owns the panel: which control appears for which model, what a disabled control has to explain, and how the landing page, pricing and workbench stay recognisably one product in both languages.
The parts you never see: the generation proxy, rate limiting and idempotent submits, task ownership and signed continuations, and the anonymous budget that keeps free creation open without leaving it unmetered.
